Just thought I'd say a quick hello before wading in. I'm a Green Laner fro Cheshire but I work all over the country so like to see new lanes where I can. I've got a nice 110 kitted out for laning and light expedition trips. It started life like this. And now looks like this. I like to make little films of any days out I do with my mates and I'll post a few up here at some point. Cheers Lee

Hi Lee
Nice to speak to you, we as a club just do the drive round days at Aldermaston in berkshire, but there are club members that go out green laning in the area. If you are ever down this way when we have a meeting on please pop in to say hi, we could also get a marshall to take you out to have a look, you never know you may like it and join, the choice will be yours, but in any case you will be welcomed.

Ah I see, I didnt pick up on that. A group of us tend to look for lanes or indeed pay and plays and then try and do a weekend linking stuff together. Its handy to know where the sites on. We did one recently in Wigan. youtu.be/_zoDWfIVPmUIt was my first proper experience of a pay and play and although it was fun, get a load of what was laid on at half time! Scariest stuff I've ever seen and not something I want to be close to again! youtu.be/EEwT7sHVB7s

not impressed with the caravan racing with all the public about and no sign of marshalls etc, in case someone got hurt, they shall we say were not going slow!
As a club we have to have rules to abide by for our insurance company, if we don;t then no one is insured, but each club to it's own.
Hope to see syou sometime in the future

It was a shame because the site had promise and some good terrain and I believe since then they have stopped all that stupid stuff, got marshalls and imposed speed limits!

This is an interesting one although a bit of trek for you guys. Land Rover sponsor an experience day in Bala forest. I could best describe it as a Green Lane pay & play. Basically an old logging forest which gives you some great terrain! It costs £50 to drive it for the day with a guide but we always enjoy it! youtu.be/WhgeUGbVJrA
